Job summary
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems across construction projects. The role ensures optimal system performance, efficiency, and reliability while maintaining compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Design & Modeling: Create detailed mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Analysis & Simulation: Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to analyze stress, thermal behavior, and fluid dynamics.
- Product Development: Manage the full product lifecycle from conceptualization and prototyping to manufacturing and installation.
- Testing & Validation: Develop and conduct experiments to test prototype performance, reliability, and safety, interpreting data for design improvements.
- Project Management: Plan, budget, and document project aspects, adhering to timelines and ensuring compliance with industry codes.
- Manufacturing Optimization: Develop and improve manufacturing processes, modifying equipment to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Documentation & Communication: Produce detailed technical reports, manuals, and schematics while liaising with clients and suppliers.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- COREN certification is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in construction environments.
- Proven experience in mechanical system design, installation, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and engineering tools.
