Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design & Modeling: Create detailed mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), ensuring compliance with design specifications.
  
• Analysis & Simulation: Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to analyze stress, thermal behavior, and fluid dynamics.
• Product Development: Manage the full product lifecycle from conceptualization and prototyping to manufacturing and installation.
• Testing & Validation: Develop and conduct experiments to test prototype performance, reliability, and safety, interpreting data for design improvements.
• Project Management: Plan, budget, and document project aspects, adhering to timelines and ensuring compliance with industry codes.
• Manufacturing Optimization: Develop and improve manufacturing processes, modifying equipment to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Documentation & Communication: Produce detailed technical reports, manuals, and schematics while liaising with clients and suppliers.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• COREN certification is an added advantage.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in construction environments.
• Proven experience in mechanical system design, installation, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and engineering tools.
