Responsibilities:
- Design, review, and implement mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related building services.
- Prepare mechanical drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
- Review architectural and structural designs to ensure seamless MEP integration.
- Supervise site installation to ensure compliance with approved designs, standards, and safety requirements.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or related field).
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in mechanical building services or construction projects.
- Proficiency in design and drafting tools/software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, and building services standards.
- Solid understanding of local and international engineering codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Professional certification/registration (e.g., COREN) is an added advantage.
