Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design and review firefighting systems in line with applicable standards and project requirements.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, layouts, specifications, and documentation.
- Supervise firefighting system installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved designs and safety standards.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and project teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues relating to firefighting systems.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to specifications and timelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience in firefighting systems design, installation, testing, and maintenance.
- Good knowledge of relevant firefighting codes, standards, and engineering practices.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering/design software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Remuneration: NGN 450,000 – NGN 700,000 gross monthly, depending on experience and qualifications
