Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Managing Director, Logistics and Freight, based in Ikeja. The role involves overseeing and directing all aspects of logistics and freight operations, developing strategies to optimize supply chain processes, and managing relationships with clients and partners. Additional responsibilities include leading a team, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and delivering solutions for operational excellence while meeting client needs. The role requires strong leadership and decision-making skills. This is a senior executive role for a proven leader ready to own the full P&L, drive operational excellence, and take the business to the next level.
What you'll do:
→ Set and execute the strategic vision for the division
→ Lead cross-functional teams across operations, commercial, and finance
→ Oversee multimodal freight operations end-to-end
→ Build key client relationships and drive revenue growth
→ Ensure compliance with local and international freight regulations
What we're looking for:
✔ 12–15 years in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain
✔ At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
✔ Strong P&L and commercial track record
✔ Deep knowledge of road, air, and sea freight operations
