Role Description The Marketing Strategist Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing initiatives for imao_app. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will assist with market and user research, help identify target segments, and contribute to developing data-informed marketing strategies. The role includes supporting the creation of campaign briefs, coordinating with team members on social and digital initiatives, and monitoring performance metrics. The intern will also help draft clear internal and external communications, contribute ideas for growth and engagement campaigns, and document insights and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Market Research and Research, with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform marketing decisions.
- Skills in Marketing and Marketing Strategy, including basic understanding of digital channels, user acquisition, and brand positioning.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced startup environment with strong time management, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, basic analytics tools, or survey tools is beneficial.
- Interest in social commerce, marketplaces, or consumer apps and a willingness to learn new tools and methodologies.
