Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced marketing officer to drive business growth through strategic marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in search engine marketing, analytics, SEO, and PR while also executing hands-on digital campaigns, content creation, and lead nurturing to enhance Uwana Energy’s visibility.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Define product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with our target audience.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimise marketing campaigns and improve ROI.
  • Plan and execute PR campaigns, build media relationships, and manage public relations efforts.
  • Manage SEO and SEM campaigns to enhance online presence and organic search rankings.
  • Develop and monitor marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective strategies.
  • Lead the creation of engaging marketing content, including blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Optimise digital marketing channels, including social media, partnerships, and webinars.
  • Track and analyse performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates and customer acquisition costs) to refine marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to enhance branding, messaging, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Oversee website performance optimisation, including landing page improvements and user experience enhancements.
  • Manage outbound and inbound marketing strategies to drive lead generation and customer acquisition.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product marketing, digital marketing, or a similar role, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle, market research, and competitive analysis.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and content creation skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
