Job summary
We are building a premium real-estate brand focused on experiential living and high-quality residential developments, seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to build our brand from the ground up, drive bookings for our Lagos beach house, and lay the foundation for demand ahead of our luxury residential development in Abuja. This is a builder role. The Marketing Manager must be able to both think strategically and execute personally, including creating content themselves where needed. This is not a purely managerial or agency-only role.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
Brand & Positioning:
- Develop and execute Duval Properties’ brand identity across digital platforms.
- Define brand tone, visual direction, and storytelling aligned with a premium positioning.
- Ensure brand consistency across Lagos short-let and Abuja residential developments.
Revenue-Focused Marketing:
- Own marketing strategy and hands-on execution for the Lagos beach house launch.
- Personally create and publish content where required (Instagram reels, stories, captions, basic video and photo content).
- Manage booking platforms, influencer collaborations, and paid ads.
- Drive occupancy, optimise pricing visibility, and increase direct bookings.
Content Creation (Non-Negotiable):
- Personally create high-quality digital content using a phone and basic editing tools.
- Capture on-site photos and videos, short-form reels, behind-the-scenes, and lifestyle content.
- Write strong captions, property descriptions, and marketing copy.
- Brief and oversee photographers and videographers when higher-end production is required.
Performance Marketing & Lead Generation:
- Design campaigns that generate enquiries, bookings, and qualified leads.
- Track KPIs including cost per lead, conversion rates, and occupancy performance.
- Build and manage basic CRM systems (email lists, WhatsApp funnels, retargeting).
Brand & Demand Building - Abuja Luxury Apartments:
- Build early-stage awareness and demand ahead of construction.
- Create and manage “coming soon” narratives and construction journey content.
- Support sales with marketing materials, landing pages, and investor communications.
Partnerships & PR:
- Develop partnerships with influencers, brands, and corporates.
- Support PR efforts, including features, launches, and private viewings.
Requirements:
- 5 - 8+ years marketing experience (real estate, hospitality, luxury, or lifestyle preferred).
- Proven ability to personally create content (video, photo, captions, reels).
- Strong digital marketing and social media execution skills.
- Commercial mindset with focus on ROI.
- Excellent aesthetic judgement and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a lean, founder-led environment.
What Success Looks Like:
- Strong occupancy and revenue for the Lagos beach house.
- Consistent, high-quality content published weekly.
- A clear, recognisable premium brand for Duval Properties.
- Pre-completion demand for Abuja residential units.
- Marketing is viewed internally as a revenue driver rather than a support function.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with short-let or hospitality marketing.
- Familiarity with Lagos and Abuja markets.
- Experience launching brands or developments from scratch.
Location: Lagos (Hybrid)
Remuneration: NGN 600,000 - 800,000
