JOB DESCRIPTION:
Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution (TNTD) Limited, a licensed distribution firm specializing in the theatrical distribution of independent and commercial filmed content, is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Intern to support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns for our film releases.
This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in entertainment marketing, with exposure to theatrical campaigns, digital promotions, and audience engagement strategies. The intern will work closely with the marketing and distribution teams to drive awareness, audience turnout, and brand visibility across multiple platforms.
Our ideal candidate must have at least one year of proven experience in marketing roles and must be knowledgeable about digital marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns for film releases (cinema and digital);
- Support social media content creation, scheduling, and community management;
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform campaign strategy;
- Help coordinate promotional events, premieres, and cinema activations;
- Assist in creating marketing materials, including captions, posters, promotional presentations, and campaign decks;
- Track campaign performance and prepare basic reports on engagement and reach;
- Support influencer outreach and partnership coordination;
- Provide administrative and operational support to the marketing team.
QUALIFICATION:
Our ideal candidate is expected to possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or any related Social Sciences field;
- 1-year experience in marketing or digital and social media marketing roles;
- Must reside in Lagos;
- Must have completed NYSC;
- Must not be less than 21 years of age.
SKILLS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Proficiency in the use of Google Workspace;
- Fair knowledge of marketing computer software and online applications (e.g., CRM tools, Online analytics, and Google Adwords, etc);
- Passion for marketing and the film industry and its best practices;
- Excellent research and business development skills;
- Excellent time management and organization skills;
- Strong, persuasive, critical thinking, sound logic, and proactive skills;
- Ability to work with minimal or zero supervision.
SALARY:
Eighty Thousand Naira Gross
