Job summary
The Marketing & Communication Associate will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing, communications, and brand strategies that strengthen visibility, reputation, and stakeholder engagement across Nigeria.

Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Brand Positioning:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that promote services and sustainability impact.
- Strengthen brand positioning as a leader in environmental and waste management solutions.
- Identify market opportunities and support growth initiatives.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives and stakeholder partnerships.
Corporate Communications & Public Relations:
- Manage internal and external communication strategies.
- Develop corporate messaging that reflects environmental and social impact.
- Handle media relations, press releases, and public communications.
- Build and manage relationships with government agencies, regulators, and key stakeholders.
- Support crisis communication and reputation management when required.
Content Development & Storytelling:
- Create compelling narratives that highlight environmental sustainability impact.
- Oversee development of communication materials, including reports, newsletters, presentations, and digital content.
- Manage social media communication strategy and online brand presence.
- Translate technical operations into clear and engaging public messaging.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy:
- Coordinate engagement with public institutions, private sector partners, and communities.
- Support advocacy campaigns around environmental cleanliness and sustainability.
- Organize events, forums, and awareness programs to promote environmental responsibility.
- Strengthen partnerships that support operational and environmental initiatives.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and report on marketing and communication effectiveness.
- Track media coverage, engagement metrics, and campaign performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Ensure alignment of communications with organizational objectives and public perception goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
- A master's degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in marketing, communications, or corporate branding roles.
- Experience in environmental services, public sector communication, infrastructure, or large corporate organizations is an advantage.
