Marketing & Business Development Executive
Job summary
The Marketing & Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across the import/export, logistics, and supply chain ecosystem. The role involves building strong client relationships, promoting shipping logistics/clearing and forwarding services, and supporting end-to-end shipment operations.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard new clients across import/export, FMCG, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas sectors, Telecommunication, Dredging sector etc.
- Conduct field marketing activities and attend relevant industry events
- Build strong relationships with importers and exporters and close business deals.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and market share.
- Support marketing campaigns and enhance a strong digital presence.
- Coordinate import and export shipments from initiation to final delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to freight forwarding
- Liaise with shipping lines, forwarding partners/agents, and regulatory agencies.
- Resolve issues related to shipment delays or documentation/ discrepancies.
- Provide timely and accurate updates to clients on shipment status.
- Prepare weekly performance reports and market intelligence insights
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of BSC
- 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
