Marketing Associate
Job summary
The Marketing Associate will develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels to support all three product lines. Key objectives include increasing brand visibility, driving traffic to our social media and website, generating leads for the sales team, and supporting retail partners with in-store promotions.

Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing (50% of time) :
Social Media Management:
- Create, schedule, and post content daily across Social media. Content includes product showcases, tutorials, customer testimonials, and behind-the-scenes.
- Content Creation:
- Shoot and edit short-form videos (Reels, TikTok) demonstrating product use (e.g., cleaning sneakers with Jason Markk, unboxing G-Shocks).
- Take high-quality photos for product listings and campaigns.
Influencer & Community Management:
- Identify and reach out to sneaker, lifestyle, and tech influencers.
- Coordinate product seeding, track deliverables, and measure ROI.
Email Marketing:
- Build and manage email lists.
- Create monthly newsletters featuring promotions, new arrivals, and educational content.
Performance Tracking:
- Use Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics (if applicable), and native platform insights to track reach, engagement, click-through rates, and conversions. Submit weekly digital marketing reports.
Offline Marketing (40% of time):
In-Store & Retail Activations:
- Plan and execute in-store promotions at partner retail locations (e.g., SLOT stores, sneaker boutiques, supermarkets stocking Jason Markk).
- Set up displays, train retail staff on product features, and run demo days.
Events & Pop-Ups:
- Organize or participate in sneaker conventions, school fairs (for calculators), pop-up shops, and outdoor activations.
- Coordinate logistics, staffing, and giveaways.
Field Marketing:
- Work with the sales team to align field efforts.
Partnership Support:
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to create marketing materials for new retail partners (shelf talkers, posters, digital assets). Support partner launch events.
Integrated Campaigns (10% of time) :
- Plan and execute 360° campaigns around key moments: back-to-school (calculators), festive season (G-Shocks), sneaker culture events (Jason Markk).
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all digital and offline touchpoints.
- Track campaign performance and report on reach, engagement, and sales lift.
Requirements :
- Minimum 3 years of marketing experience, with demonstrable skills in both digital and offline marketing.
- Proven ability to create engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikTok) using a smartphone (no professional equipment required, but must have an eye for aesthetics).
- Strong copywriting skills for social captions, email newsletters, and basic ad copy.
- Experience using Meta Business Suite (scheduling, boosting posts, basic ads management).
- Ability to coordinate offline events: logistics, vendor communication, on-ground execution.
- Based in Lagos with a willingness to travel within Lagos for activations.
Preferred :
- Experience in marketing lifestyle products (watches, sneakers, fashion accessories) or educational products (calculators, stationery).
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, or similar).
- Creative and constantly generating new ideas.
- Organized enough to manage a content calendar and multiple activations simultaneously.
- Outgoing and comfortable talking to strangers (for event activations and field marketing).
- Self-motivated; works without constant supervision.
- Passionate about sneakers, streetwear, or tech gadgets is a plus.
