Marketing and Communication Officer
Job summary
We are looking to hire a Marketing & Communications Officer who would be responsible for ensuring that all Ewokor businesses attract and retain recurring customers, increase market awareness, and maintain a distinguished, credible public image that appeals to both customers and investors. This role goes beyond social media. It is a commercial leadership role for a marketer who understands retail foot traffic, QSR sales cycles, promotions, pricing psychology, and brand trust and can convert marketing activity into measurable business growth.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a group-wide marketing strategy aligned with revenue and growth targets
- Drive customer acquisition, repeat visits, and brand loyalty across all business units
- Ensure marketing efforts directly support sales performance and profitability
- Plan and execute promotions that increase foot traffic and basket size
- Coordinate campaigns with Operations to ensure feasibility and execution on the ground.
- Track sales uplift and customer response during promotions
- Own brand positioning, messaging, and tone across all Ewokor businesses
- Ensure consistency across in-store branding, Digital platforms, Outdoor, print, and corporate communications
- Maintain a public-facing brand image that builds trust, credibility, and investor confidence
- Oversee digital marketing, paid ads, social media, and partnerships
- Improve customer engagement and retention across channels
- Ensure marketing spend delivers measurable ROI
- Track campaign effectiveness, customer growth, and ROI
- Present clear, data-backed marketing reports to management
- Continuously optimise campaigns based on performance insights
- Lead internal creatives or external agencies
- Ensure marketing is a growth engine, not a cost center.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing leadership roles
- Proven experience in retail, QSR, FMCG, or consumer-facing businesses
- Strong understanding of offline and online marketing
- Commercial mindset with ability to link marketing activity to revenue
- Experience managing brands across multiple locations or business units
- Strong communication, leadership, and execution skills
