Marketing and Business Development Associate
Job summary
Kon-X is seeking a Marketing and Business Development Associate to build Kon-X Media and generate qualified demand across Building Materials, Energy, Construction, and Real Estate. The associate will create credible industry content, run growth campaigns, and develop relevant relationships.

Responsibilities:
- Own the Kon-X Media editorial calendar across video, social, website and email, aligned with priority customers, projects and solutions.
- Film, photograph, script and edit short- and long-form videos, project stories, interviews and field content.
- Research technical topics with field teams, OEMs and external experts; turn them into useful explainers and case studies.
- Write and publish newsletters, articles, captions, campaign copy and event materials in a clear Kon-X voice.
- Manage video and audio editing, graphics, subtitles, thumbnails, distribution and content repurposing.
- Run campaigns, events and partner stories that build reach, open relevant conversations and generate qualified enquiries.
- Research prospects, nurture inbound and selected outbound leads, maintain CRM records and coordinate handover to relevant teams.
- Track audience growth, engagement, newsletter response and content-led opportunities; maintain brand standards, permissions and an organised media library.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Film, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent portfolio-led experience.
- 2 years in content marketing, media production or growth marketing, with a portfolio showing strong video, editing and writing work.
- Hands-on filming, photography, audio and video editing skills using professional or comparable production tools.
- Strong writing and interviewing skills, with experience in social publishing, newsletters, CRM-based lead follow-up and campaign analytics.
- Portfolio of credible B2B content for technical products, construction, energy, property or the built environment.
- Experience planning interviews or field shoots and turning expert input into video, articles or case studies.
- Experience with email campaigns, website content, analytics, CRM lead capture or partner marketing.
- Experience producing content with OEMs, project teams or external creators is an advantage.
