Market Research Intern
Job descriptions & requirements
About Pump'Am
Pump'Am is building simple, practical products for African roads.
Our first product, the Pump'Am P1, is a pocket-sized portable air compressor designed to help drivers handle tyre-pressure emergencies without relying on a vulcanizer or external power source.
We distribute exclusively B2B, working with fleet operators, OEM vehicle distributors, and corporate fleets across Nigeria.
In May 2026, we presented the P1 at the CFAO Suzuki model launch in Lagos. We're now expanding our commercial presence beyond Lagos.
And we want you to help us map Abuja.
The Role

- How large are they?
- How are their vehicles used and maintained?
- What tyre-related challenges do they face?
- Who makes fleet and procurement decisions?
You'll identify relevant Fleet Managers, Operations Managers, Procurement Leads, Transport Managers and other decision makers, and build a structured database of your findings.

Week 2 — Investigate
Research fleet sizes, operations, vehicle usage and maintenance practices.
Week 3 — Validate

You'll submit weekly research reports to the Pump'Am team.
