Responsibilities:
- Strategic Corporate Governance: Formulate and execute long-range business strategies, investment mandates, and commercial goals approved by the Board of Directors.
- Full P&L Accountability: Manage capital allocations, operational expenditures, pricing strategies, and diversified income lines to ensure long-term profitability.
- Regulatory & Statutory Compliance: Act as the primary institutional representative with Central Banking authorities, NDIC, and external auditors to maintain unblemished licensing standards.
- Fundraising & Capital Strategy: Lead institutional fundraising rounds, debt financing negotiations, and international development bank integrations to fortify capital adequacy ratios.
- Executive Team Leadership: Champion a fast-paced, high-performance company culture by direct alignment and mentoring of C-suite officers across Tech, Risk, Finance, and Operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Banking, or related fields. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., HCIB, CIBN certification) is mandatory according to microfinance banking regulations.
- Minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in the banking sector, with at least 5 years at a senior executive level (Director, General Manager, or C-Level) within retail banking, digital banking, or microfinance.
- Flawless grasp of microfinance banking guidelines, sophisticated capital structuring capability, visionary leadership, and strong ethical posture.
