Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Managing Director will have the responsibilities to set the company as a leading provider of innovative investment and financial intermediation products, returning maximum profit commensurate with the best interest of shareholders.Â
- Provide effective leadership and guidance in business development for investment and credit products, developing compelling sales and marketing strategies to ensure continuing growth in business volumes in accordance with budget.Â
- Provide leadership and direction for the back-office functions: finance, treasury operations, compliance, legal, information technology and human resources. Â
- Coordinate, direct and control an efficient and effective operations’ management system to ensure consistent delivery of product promises.
- Implement sound practices to ensure operational efficiency of credit administration processes to minimize the occurrence of non-performing loans, and also be responsible for the performance of credit portfolio in line with regulatory standard.
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and corporate policies and regulations.Â
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any other quantitative discipline.
- A Master’s degree or/and professional certification will confer additional advantage.
- 10 - 15 years’ experience in bank or non-bank financial institutions; minimum of 5 of those years should be at senior management level in the financial sector.
- Extensive knowledge of marketing, treasury management, credit administration and operations of a financial sector.
- Proven track record of success in initiating/creating revenue generating business and marketing activities.Â
- Strong business and relationship management abilities.
- Good ethical business orientation.
- Extensive experience in resource management.
