Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Maintain facility, laboratory, and production plant equipment.
- Enforce company safety rules and report unsafe conditions, acts, and equipment failures.
- Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with company EHS requirements.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with work permit and clearance certificate requirements.
- Coordinate statutory inspections and maintain required certifications.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities and respond to equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, job cards, and incident reports.
- Ensure the safety, reliability, and proper functioning of all plant assets and equipment.
- Support plant process safety initiatives and conduct risk assessments for maintenance activities.
- Maintain up-to-date instrument calibration records.
- Keep workshops, stores, tools, and PPE clean and in good condition.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in plant maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance systems.
- Good understanding of EHS requirements, permit-to-work systems, and process safety.
- Knowledge of statutory equipment inspections and maintenance compliance requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to supervise contractors and manage maintenance activities effectively.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in maintenance documentation and record management.
