Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Officer to join our artisan butchery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of all technical and mechanical systems critical to daily operations. This role ensures smooth running of equipment, safety, and uninterrupted production.

Job Description/Requirements
- Maintain and troubleshoot cold rooms to ensure optimal temperature and performance.
- Inspect, repair, and service light fittings, electrical systems, NEPA supply, and generators.
- Maintain and operate water pumping machines to ensure consistent water flow.
- Oversee and service meat production and processing equipment, including Sausage filler, Slicer, Bandsaw, Mixer, and Bone cutter.
- Maintain and service air conditioning units across the facility.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns.
- Keep detailed maintenance logs and reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices.
- Minimum of a Diploma qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a maintenance technician/officer, ideally in a production, cold-chain, or food processing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and general facility maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machines.
- Good understanding of generator and NEPA power systems.
- Technical training or certification is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
