Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for planning and carrying out routine and emergency maintenance on equipment, vehicles, and machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, coordinating repair activities, and ensuring adherence to maintenance schedules.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify potential failures, and implement corrective actions to reduce breakdowns and downtime.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Supporting equipment installation and commissioning, and working closely with mechanics, electricians, and operations teams to achieve reliable and safe operations.
  

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or HND in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in maintenance, engineering, or industrial operations is required, preferably within an engineering, construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas environment.
• Must have strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices, equipment troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.
• A good understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards is essential.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to prepare maintenance reports are required.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are important for success in this role.
