Lubricant Accountant
Job summary
The Lubricant Accountant manages inventory accounting, product costing, sales reconciliation, and margin tracking for lubricant operations. The role ensures accurate financial records, monitors stock movements, and supports reporting and cost control across distribution and sales channels.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of lubricant inventory across warehouses and distribution points
- Reconcile physical stock with system records and resolve variances
- Track product costs, including base oil, additives, packaging, and logistics
- Monitor product margins and prepare cost analysis reports
- Review and reconcile lubricant sales transactions across channels
- Monitor customer balances and support receivable follow-up
- Ensure all transactions are accurately posted in the ERP system
- Prepare periodic reports on sales, stock position, and cost performance
- Support audit processes and ensure proper documentation of transactions
Requirements:
- BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in oil & gas, manufacturing, or FMCG
- Strong experience in inventory accounting and reconciliation
- Knowledge of product costing and margin analysis
- Experience working with ERP systems
- A professional qualification (ACA/ACCA) is an added advantage
- Cost accounting experience is an added advantage
