Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the transportation, distribution, and delivery of goods to customers and designated locations.
- Plan delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Monitor the movement of goods from dispatch to final delivery.
- Liaise with drivers, suppliers, vendors, customers, and other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, dispatches, inventory, and transportation expenses.
- Ensure proper documentation of waybills, delivery notes, invoices, and other logistics documents.
- Track shipments and resolve delays, delivery issues, or discrepancies.
- Monitor the condition of goods during loading, transportation, and unloading.
- Assist with inventory control, stock movement, and warehouse coordination where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
- Prepare logistics reports and recommend ways to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules where applicable.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a BSC degree
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
