Job summary
The Logistics Officer manages and optimizes the daily supply chain operations, ensuring that goods, materials, and products are moved efficiently from point of origin to destination. This role acts as the central coordinator between suppliers, warehouse teams, carriers, and customs officials.

Responsibilities:
- Shipment Coordination: Organize, track, and optimize the distribution of goods via road, rail, air, or ocean freight to ensure timely delivery.
- Inventory & Warehouse Control: Monitor stock levels, oversee shipping and receiving activities, and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Vendor & Carrier Management: Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable third-party logistics ($3PL$) providers and freight forwarders; negotiate competitive shipping rates.
- Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and audit all essential logistics paperwork, including Bills of Lading ($BoL$), customs clearance documents, invoices, and shipping manifests.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively troubleshoot delivery delays, customs bottlenecks, damaged shipments, or route disruptions to minimize operational downtime.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of OND.
- 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
