Job Summary
This role supports the procurement and logistics manager to analyse and coordinate the logistical functions and is responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of target beneficiaries' needs
- Collaborate with other departments as necessary to meet beneficiaries’ requirements
- Arrange transport of supplies to and from the field
- Takes advantage of distribution opportunities and, in the case of shortages, minimizes negative impacts on the project
- Develop and implement technical project management tools such as plans, schedules, and responsibility and compliance matrices
- Support the compilation and analysis of technical source data necessary for product sourcing and distribution
- Support team activities, establish task priorities, schedule and track work assignments, provide guidance, and ensures the availability of resources
- Maintain and develop positive business relationships with suppliers’ personnel involved in or directly relevant to a logistics activity
- Report project plans, progress, and results
- Review logistics performance against project targets, benchmarks, and service agreements
Requirements:
- Degree in sciences, health sciences, or management sciences
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of work experience in a logistics-related field.
- Speak fluent English and Hausa and can work proficiently in both languages
- Resident in Katsina or willing to relocate (at own cost)
- Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Notes), video conference software (e.g., Teams, Zoom, Google Meet)
- Available for onboarding by mid-December (to be done onsite)
- Available for on-site project take-off in January 2023 after contract has been signed
- Experience with local supply chain processes.

Reports to: Procurement and logistics manager and works very closely with Stores Officer and LGA facilitators
Working conditions
- Onsite
- Full-time, 8 am to 5 pm, Mondays to Fridays with occasional extended and weekend hours
- Remuneration includes group life insurance and basic individual health insurance
- 1-year contract
