Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Drive loan book growth within risk appetite
- Establish partnerships with banks and fintechs
- Ensure CBN regulatory compliance
- Supervise credit analysis (financials, credit reports, collateral)
- Monitor default rates and keep the credit review error rate <2%
- Manage Portfolio at Risk and minimise NPL ratio via restructurings and payment plans
- Lead recovery strategy to improve recovery rates
- Reduce annual write-off rate
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian debt recovery laws
- Reduce loan processing TAT (24–72 hours)
- Achieve >90% SLA compliance for inquiries
- Ensure 100% error-free documentation and disbursement
- Oversee loan management systems (e.g., Loan Disk)
- Drive team KPI achievement >80%
- Monitor productivity per officer and keep absenteeism <5%
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Admin, Banking & Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial services, lending, fintech, or microfinance, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of credit risk, loan portfolio management, debt recovery, and CBN regulations
- Proven ability to grow loan books while managing risk exposure
- Experience with collections, restructurings, delinquencies, and NPLs
- Strong analytical skills (financial statements, credit reports, collateral)
- Experience with loan management systems (e.g., Loan Disk)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Remuneration: NGN450,000
