Loan & Marketing Officer

Responsibilities:

• Market and promote the company’s loan and investment products and services.
• Identify and generate new customers through direct marketing, referrals, networking, social media, and other channels.
• Explain loan and investment products, eligibility requirements, terms, interest rates, returns, and repayment schedules to customers.
• Receive and process loan applications while ensuring required documentation is complete.
• Conduct preliminary customer assessments and verify relevant information.
• Follow up on loan applications and prospective customers.
• Monitor customer repayments and follow up on outstanding obligations where necessary.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Meet and exceed assigned customer acquisition, loan disbursement, and marketing targets.
• Maintain accurate customer records and prepare regular reports on marketing and loan activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.

Requirements:

• HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in sales, marketing, lending, banking, microfinance, or a related role.
• Proven ability to meet sales and customer acquisition targets.
• Knowledge of loan products and basic credit assessment is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic digital tools.
• Must be proactive, persuasive, disciplined, and target-oriented.
