Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, process, and monitor loan applications to ensure compliance with credit policies.
- Manage thrift savings, investment portfolios, and loan disbursements efficiently.
- Conduct credit appraisals, risk assessments, and repayment tracking for clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to promote savings, investment, and loan services.
- Generate periodic reports on loan performance and portfolio quality.
- Collaborate with the finance and risk teams to maintain healthy loan books and minimize defaults.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ proven experience in microfinance or commercial banking.
- Strong knowledge of credit operations, thrift savings, and the loan management system
- Strong credit analysis and financial modeling skills
- Excellent understanding of microfinance principles and lending dynamics.
- Knowledge of CBN guidelines and risk management frameworks.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and banking software.
