Job summary
The Legal Secretary provides administrative, clerical, and documentation support to the Legal Department. The role ensures proper drafting, filing, organization, retrieval, and distribution of legal documents while supporting contract management, compliance tracking, and correspondence for JedAir’s corporate and project-related matters.

Responsibilities:
- Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, including contracts, demand letters, notices, memos, board resolutions, and correspondence.
- Maintain an up-to-date filing and documentation system (physical and electronic) for all legal documents.
- Schedule meetings, track deadlines, and maintain calendars for the legal team.
- Support contract lifecycle management: version control, signatures, tracking, and archiving.
- Handle confidential information with strict professional discretion.
- Prepare and organize case files for litigation, arbitration, regulatory submissions, and negotiations.
- Assist with compliance monitoring, regulatory filings, and corporate governance documentation.
- Conduct basic research on laws, regulations, and policy updates when required.
- Coordinate communication with external solicitors, consultants, and government agencies.
- Manage incoming and outgoing legal correspondence and ensure prompt responses.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and summaries for management and board meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Secretariat Studies, or a related field.
- Experience working in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in legal administrative work.
- Knowledge of corporate governance, contract management, or aviation regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Excellent document drafting, formatting, and proofreading skills.
- High professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), document management systems, and digital tools.
- Effective multitasking, time management, and prioritization.
