Responsibilities:
- l Commercial & Strategic Partnerships: Support business development initiatives, structure strategic partnerships, and drive commercial negotiations
- Contracts & Agreements: Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, co-production deals, and distribution agreements.
- l Intellectual Property & Licensing: Oversee IP portfolio management, licensing administration, and brand protection.
- l Investor & Fundraising Support: Draft and manage investor agreements, term sheets, and fundraising documentation.
- l Corporate Governance: Assist with board matters, entity management, minute-taking, and corporate record compliance.
- l Regulatory & Compliance: Coordinate compliance frameworks, monitor regulatory updates, and manage internal risk mitigation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.); active license to practice law in good standing.
- 3–5+ years of relevant legal experience (in-house or top-tier law firm), with strong commercial contract experience.
- Excellent negotiation, contract drafting, and communication skills; strong understanding of corporate law, IP, and licensing.
- High attention to detail, business acumen, and ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
