Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Counsel located in Lagos. The Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing legal support and expertise to the firm, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents. The role involves offering guidance on legal matters, addressing client legal issues, and providing informed legal advice to help clients achieve their goals. The individual will also ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations while mitigating legal risks for the organization and its clients.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in Law, including legal principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Legal Document Preparation to ensure effective agreements and accurate documentation.
- Ability to handle various Legal Issues and provide sound Legal Advice to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) and a valid legal practicing certificate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience within a corporate, commercial, or similar legal environment is highly advantageous.
