Legal Associate

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal and regulatory compliance advisory services to clients.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions.
• Advise clients on corporate governance and regulatory obligations.
• Support the company's secretarial and compliance functions.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure client compliance.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies where required.
• Assist with corporate transactions and due diligence exercises.

Requirements:

• LL.B and BL qualifications.
• Minimum of 5 years post-call experience.
• Strong experience in compliance and corporate advisory work.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in a law firm or corporate advisory environment is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong compliance and regulatory advisory background.
• Experience advising businesses across multiple industries.
• Proactive, professional, and solution-oriented.
• Litigation experience is not required.

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos.
Remuneration: NGN 400,000 – 500,000
