Loveworld Incorporated is seeking an experienced and highly competent Legal & Policy Regulations Manager to provide strategic legal guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee the development and implementation of policies that support the objectives of the Ministry of Commerce. T

Responsibilities:
Legal Management:
- Provide legal advice and counsel to leadership on commercial, corporate, contractual, and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, memoranda of understanding (MOUs), and other legal documents.
- Monitor legal risks and recommend proactive mitigation measures.
- Manage disputes, litigation matters, and engagement with external legal counsel where necessary.
- Ensure protection of the organization's intellectual property, assets, and commercial interests.
Policy and Regulatory Compliance:
- Develop, review, update, and implement organizational policies, frameworks, and governance standards.
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to the Department of Commerce.
- Conduct compliance audits and assessments to identify potential gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Track legislative and regulatory developments and advise management on their implications.
- Establish and maintain a compliance monitoring and reporting system.
Governance and Stakeholder Management:
- Support leadership in strengthening corporate governance practices.
- Liaise with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.
- Develop policy guidelines and training programs to improve compliance awareness across the department.
- Prepare reports, legal opinions, policy briefs, and compliance updates for executive management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B); BL qualification required.
- Master's Degree in Law, Public Policy, Corporate Governance, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in legal practice, regulatory compliance, policy development, or corporate governance.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, regulatory compliance, and policy management.
- Experience in drafting legal agreements, governance frameworks, and organizational policies.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies is an advantage.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
