Job summary
The Lecturer in Applied Physics will teach the physical-science principles underpinning health sciences, including the physics relevant to medical instrumentation, imaging and clinical measurement.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical/laboratory sessions in Applied Physics.
- Develop course outlines, learning outcomes, practical guides, and teaching materials.
- Teach core concepts such as mechanics, heat, electricity, radiation, and the physics of medical devices.
- Supervise laboratory work and ensure safe, correct use of equipment.
- Relate physics principles to medical instrumentation, imaging, and patient monitoring.
- Set, administer, and grade assessments, practicals, and examinations.
- Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and feedback to students.
- Participate in curriculum review and continuous quality improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
- Perform other duties assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Physics or Applied Physics; a Master's degree is strongly preferred and an advantage.
- At least 2–3 years of teaching or relevant professional experience, preferably at the tertiary level.
- Ability to deliver both theory and laboratory/practical instruction safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of the application of physics to medical and health sciences is an advantage.
- Strong command of spoken and written English with effective presentation skills.
- Competence in digital learning tools.
