Learning And Development Manager
Job summary
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and people-focused Learning & Development Manager to design, implement, and manage employee learning and development programs across the organization. The successful candidate will identify training needs, develop effective learning strategies, coordinate training programs.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the organization's learning and development strategy in line with business objectives.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify employee skill and competency gaps.
- Design and coordinate training programs, workshops, seminars, and professional development initiatives.
- Develop annual learning and development plans and training calendars.
- Identify suitable internal and external trainers, consultants, and training providers.
- Manage relationships with training vendors and negotiate training services where required.
- Develop learning materials, presentations, manuals, and other training resources.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and induction programs.
- Support leadership development, career development, succession planning, and talent management initiatives.
- Work with department heads and managers to identify development needs and create appropriate learning solutions.
- Implement and manage e-learning and digital learning programs through the organization's LMS or other learning platforms.
- Monitor employee participation and completion of training programs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, performance data, and business outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports on training activities, employee development, costs, and learning outcomes.
- Manage the L&D budget and ensure effective use of training resources.
- Maintain accurate records of employee training and development activities.
- Ensure learning programs comply with company policies and relevant professional standards.
- Stay updated on emerging learning technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Lead and mentor members of the Learning & Development team where applicable.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proven years of experience in Learning & Development, training, talent development, or HR, with proven managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of training needs analysis, instructional design, and adult learning principles.
- Experience developing and implementing organizational learning strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems (LMS).
- Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project management, budgeting, and organizational abilities.
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills with the ability to measure training effectiveness.
- Ability to work with senior management and stakeholders across different departments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- CIPM, SHRM, ATD, or other relevant professional certification
