Lead Visual Storyteller

Responsibilities:

• Cinematic Production: Act as the primary Director of Photography (DP) on set, handling camera operation, professional lighting setups, and crisp audio capture for all commercial and documentary shoots.
  
• Creative Collaboration: Partner closely with the Creative Director to map out visual styles, shot lists, and execution strategies on the ground in Lagos.
  
• Post-Production Mastery: Own the editing process from start to finish—including narrative pacing, sound design, and color grading—to deliver polished, high-end final cuts.
  
• Data & Asset Management: Maintain a disciplined workflow for offloading, backing up, and organizing raw footage and project files.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working as a videographer and editor (previous boutique studio or creative agency experience is highly preferred).
  
• Production Gear: Bonus point if you own and bring your own professional camera kit (Sony, Lumix, or Canon ecosystems) fully capable of recording in clean, production-ready 4K.
  
• Technical Skillset: Advanced knowledge of cinematic lighting techniques, composition, frame rates (24fps/60fps), flat/log color profiles, and professional audio gear.
  
• Storytelling Focus: A strong portfolio or showreel that demonstrates a sharp eye for narrative storytelling, smooth pacing, and intentional lighting (Applications without a portfolio link will not be considered).
  
• Lagos Street-Smarts: Highly resourceful, organized, and capable of navigating the fast-paced, unpredictable logistics of shooting on location in Lagos.
