Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Support plant-wide machine repairs during shifts, minimise breakdown losses, and ensure effective corrective maintenance through troubleshooting, repair activities, and coordination of internal and external technical resources.
- Analyse mechanical and production data, maintain equipment databases and breakdown histories, manage modification processes, and implement mechanical contingency plans to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
- Evaluate technician performance and provide hands-on training, support spare parts inventory management and contribute innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement and process optimisation.
Requirements:
- Degree / HND in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, and Mechanical Control System Engineering or any related discipline.
- Minimum of seven years’ relevant experience in process automation, preferably in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Professional certifications, such as COREN, NSE, or IEEE, are required.
