Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Ibadan for a Layer Farm Supervisor. The Layer Farm Supervisor will oversee daily farm operations, including staff supervision, flock health monitoring, production management, and adherence to biosecurity protocols. Key responsibilities include ensuring optimal chick performance, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, managing feed supply, and implementing poultry health programs. Regular reporting and collaboration with the management team are also essential aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Layer brooding management skills
• Strong understanding of flock health management, poultry health practices, and biosecurity procedures
• Proven ability in staff supervision, team coordination, and workforce management
• Knowledge of feed supply management and use of poultry equipment
• Proficiency in monitoring and reporting farm operations and performance metrics
• Ability to work on-site and demonstrate hands-on involvement in farm activities
• A Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field is an advantage
• Prior experience in brooding management is highly preferred
