Responsibilities:
- Annotate and review text, speech, or conversational datasets.
- label and text data for parts of speech, sentiment, intent, and syntax project guidelines.
- Ensure cultural and contextual appropriateness of annotated data.
- Develop and refine annotation guidelines.
- Conduct quality assurance and inter-annotator agreement checks.
- Provide feedback to improve workflows and annotation standards.
- Support multilingual or domain-specific annotation projects (if applicable).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Languages, or related field
- Native or near-native proficiency in the target language(s)
- Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and language structure.
- Experience in linguistic annotation or data labeling projects.
- Familiarity with NLP concepts and AI workflows.
- Experience with annotation tools (e.g., Label Studio, Prodigy, ELAN).
- Knowledge of corpus linguistics or discourse analysis.
- Multilingual capabilities.
Remuneration: NGN 500,000.
