Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities:

• To ensure that guests receive clean china, silverware, and glassware.
• To provide the cooks, server assistants, bartenders, and servers with support and assistance.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness of kitchen facilities.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Food procurement and provisioning
• Cleanliness of the kitchen, dining areas, and buffet area
• Restocking refrigerators
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• A minimum age of 18 years is required
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to all guests, coworkers, and vendors.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 10-15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, chemical instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
• Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including all company health and safety standards.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and employees and problem-solve.
• Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
