Role Description
The Keyboardist Internship is an on-site position based in Abuja. The successful candidate will support recording sessions, rehearsals, songwriting camps, live performances, and artist development activities by performing on keyboards and piano.
The intern will work closely with producers, sound engineers, vocalists, songwriters, and fellow musicians to contribute to music production projects across multiple genres. Daily responsibilities include learning and performing assigned musical arrangements, assisting with songwriting and composition, creating keyboard parts, and adapting to the creative requirements of various recording projects.
The Keyboardist Intern may also assist with instrument setup and maintenance, participate in studio recordings and live events, and contribute ideas during creative and production meetings.
Qualifications
* Strong performance skills on keyboards and piano.
* Solid foundational experience as a Keyboardist and Pianist.
* Good understanding of music theory, harmony, and composition.
* Ability to read chord charts, lead sheets, or sheet music and improvise when required.
* Basic knowledge of music production and recording environments is an advantage.
* Demonstrated passion for pursuing a career in music, performance, or audio production.
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative studio environment.
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
* Excellent time management, professionalism, reliability, and willingness to learn.
* Ability to work on-site in Abuja and participate in rehearsals, recording sessions, and music-related events.
