Job summary

Our client represents a major manufacturer of fragrance chemicals used in the production of cosmetics. The manufacturer is based in Europe. In order to ensure delivery of its focused growth strategy, the company now seeks to recruit a dynamic Key Account Manager (Fragrances). The key account manager will report to the MD. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value accounts, driving revenue growth through account expansion, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value accounts.
  • Driving revenue growth through account expansion and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • As the Key Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for strategic clients, developing deep relationships with key stakeholders across multiple levels of their organisations.
  • You will work closely with internal teams, including sales, product development, customer success, and marketing, to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet clients' evolving needs.
  •  Establish a significant client base for the company, developing and maintaining a portfolio of leads by generating new businesses as well as exploiting existing opportunities.

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a degree in industrial chemistry, biochemistry or chemistry will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B account management, sales, or client relationship management (experience in sales of chemicals or fragrance will be an added advantage)
  • Experience with CRM systems (salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms)
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for C-level interactions
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and create strategic recommendation
  • Willingness to travel 25-40% for client meetings and industry events
