Job summary

The Pixxel Factory is a prestigious Production Studio based in Anthony Village, Lagos State and seeks to fill the position of an Assistant Studio Manager. The ideal candidate must be responsible, organized, proactive and ready to support the daily operations of our production studio.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the daily management and smooth operation of the photography and videography studio.
  • Coordinate studio bookings, schedules, sessions, and appointments.
  • Welcome clients and ensure they receive a professional and pleasant studio experience.
  • Liaise with photographers, makeup artists, stylists, assistants, and other creative team members.
  • Prepare the studio before sessions and ensure it is properly arranged afterward.
  • Monitor the availability and condition of studio equipment, props, furniture, and accessories.
  • Assist in studio equipment installation.
  • Maintain an organized record of studio equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in ensuring that equipment is handled properly and report damaged or missing items.
  • Coordinate studio cleaning, maintenance, and general upkeep.
  • Assist with client inquiries, bookings, quotations, and follow-ups.
  • Support the studio manager with administrative and operational tasks.
  • Assist with coordinating photoshoots.
  • Assist in ensuring that studio policies are followed by staff and clients.
  • Assist with social media or content-related activities when required.
  • Contribute to creating a professional and welcoming studio environment.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of an OND in any discipline.
  • Ability or experience to set up studio equipment.
  • Ability to carry/lift studio equipment
  • 1–2 years of experience in studio management, office management, administration, customer service, photography, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with creative professionals and clients.
  • Basic knowledge of photography studio operations is an advantage.
  • Comfortable using MS Office, Google Workspace, Slack or similar tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage changing schedules.
