Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in supervising daily site activities to ensure work is carried out according to drawings and specifications.
- Support the preparation of site reports, material schedules, and progress documentation.
- Monitor workmanship, quality control, and compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, artisans, and suppliers to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Assist in setting out, leveling, and surveying tasks on site.
- Report site challenges promptly and support problem‑solving efforts.
- Ensure proper use of materials and prevent wastage.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an OND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant site experience (industrial training experience may be considered).
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings, site measurements, and engineering principles.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions accurately.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD is an added advantage.
