Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the school;s curriculum and academic standards.
Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that promote critical thinking and active learning.
Assess, monitor, and evaluate students' academic performance and provide timely feedback.
Maintain accurate academic records and prepare progress reports.
Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that supports effective learning
Encourage students' intellectual, emotional, social, and moral development.
Promote positive behaviour, respect, responsibility, and integrity among students.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' academic progress and development.
Support the school's commitment to character development by modelling professionalism, leadership, integrity, respect, and excellence.
Participate in departmental meetings, professional development programmes, school events, and extracurricular activities.
Comply with the school's safeguarding, health, safety, and child protection policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in education or a relevant subject area.
Minimum of 3 years' teaching experience at the junior secondary school level.
Experience teaching the British Curriculum is an added advantage.
Excellent classroom management and instructional skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good ICT proficiency.
TRCN certification or registration is an added advantage.
Passion for teaching, mentoring young learners, and promoting values-based education.
