Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate vessel arrival, berthing, operations, and departure.
- Handle crew change, husbandry, and port documentation.
- Liaise with NPA, NIMASA, Customs, Immigration, terminals, and other stakeholders
- Coordinate vessel supplies, spares, transportation, and other port requirements.
- Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with port and maritime regulations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an HND in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Port Management, Logistics, Transport Management, or related field.
- A minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in port/shipping operations.
- Experience in a shipping company or maritime agency is highly preferred
- Practical knowledge of vessel berthing, crew change, husbandry, and customs handling
- Strong communication, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
