Job summary
Join SuperBo Media as our local engineering lead in Lagos, building and maintaining live digital platforms in coordination with our US CTO. You will own front-end/back-end features, deploy custom AI agents (Claude Code, ChatGPT APIs), and manage databases. Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Full-Stack Development: Build and iterate on responsive, high-performance front-end and back-end components using React/Next.js and Node.js.
- AI Agent Development: Design, build, and deploy production AI agents using Claude Code, ChatGPT APIs, and modern LLM frameworks.
- Platform & Database Ownership: Maintain content ingestion pipelines, write optimized database queries, monitor performance, and flag degradation early.
- Cross-Continental Collaboration: Execute sprint tickets, participate in daily async syncs (Slack, Loom, video), and maintain strict Git/codebase hygiene.
- Adaptability: Execute engineering tasks across new client projects or expanding internal brands as assigned within our shared-services model.
Requirements:
- Solid working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js/Next.js, Node.js, and clean Python scripting.
- Practical experience building and managing custom AI agents with LLM APIs, alongside high proficiency using Claude Code and ChatGPT as active dev tools
- Hands-on experience with Docker containerization, REST APIs, and database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB).
- Strong Git fundamentals (branching, PRs, clean commits). Experience with Make.com automation is a strong plus.
- Clear written English for remote, async communication. A GitHub profile or portfolio with real, authored code is strictly required.
