Junior Accountant
Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide accurate financial reports to support business decisions. The ideal candidate should have 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience and be highly proficient in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely bookkeeping.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process payroll and statutory deductions where applicable.
- Prepare and file tax returns, VAT, PAYE, WHT, and other statutory obligations.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and cash flow to support financial planning.
- Conduct periodic account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and company records.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and regulatory requirements.
- Recommend improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3–4 years of proven accounting experience.
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or ATS) is an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of other accounting software such as Sage, Zoho Books, Tally, or ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must reside in Isolo or nearby areas (e.g., Ejigbo, Okota, Ajao Estate, Oshodi, Mafoluku, Ilasamaja, Mushin, or Surulere).
