Aviation and Transport Journalist

Responsibilities:

• Research, write, and publish news articles, reports, and feature stories on the aviation and transport sectors
• Cover industry developments, including airline operations, airport activities, logistics, maritime, rail, and road transport systems
• Monitor government policies, regulatory changes, and economic factors affecting the industry
• Conduct interviews with industry professionals, regulators, and key stakeholders
• Analyze trends, statistics, and data to produce insightful and impactful reports
• Attend press briefings, industry events, and conferences when required
• Collaborate with editors and multimedia teams to enhance content delivery
• Ensure all content adheres to journalistic standards of accuracy, balance, and integrity
• Apply SEO strategies and digital tools to optimize content reach and engagement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Transport Management, or a related field
• Proven experience as a journalist, reporter, or content writer (experience in aviation, logistics, or transport is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of aviation and transportation systems, policies, and industry trends
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Strong analytical and research abilities
