Janitor

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain offices, workspaces, meeting rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas regularly.
• Ensure restrooms are properly cleaned, stocked, and maintained.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Clean windows, doors, furniture, and other office surfaces as required.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and materials.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor.
• Ensure the office environment remains clean and presentable throughout working hours.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning meeting areas when required.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Perform other cleaning and related duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a janitor, cleaner, office attendant, or in a similar role is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Must be hardworking, trustworthy, punctual, and physically fit.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism within a financial institution.
• Candidates residing in or around Ikorodu are strongly preferred.
