We are expanding our technical team and are seeking a skilled IT & Networking Expert to support surveys, installations, configurations, maintenance, and training across our smart-home projects for customer long term smooth and uninterrupted network /IT related experience.

Role Overview:
The IT & Networking Expert will play a critical role in the technical execution of Patobe’s smart home projects. This role involves onsite surveys, system design support, network setup, device configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and training clients and internal staff on smart-home and IT systems.
This position is ideal for a hands-on IT professional with strong networking knowledge and experience supporting modern residential or enterprise IT environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct technical site surveys for smart-home projects.
Design and implement home network infrastructure (LAN/Wi-Fi, switches, routers, VLANs where required).
Install, configure, and maintain smart-home systems, including controllers, hubs, cameras, smart locks, intercoms, and IoT devices.
Configure IP-based systems such as CCTV, access control, and intercoms.
Troubleshoot network, connectivity, and device-level issues.
Perform system testing, commissioning, and handover.
Provide preventive and corrective maintenance services.
Train clients on the use of installed systems and dashboards.
Support internal teams with IT and networking guidance.
Document installations, network diagrams, IP addressing, and configurations.
Ensure security best practices for networks and connected devices.
Requirements:
Proven experience in IT support, networking, or systems engineering.
Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routing, switching, and IP addressing.
Experience with CCTV systems, IP cameras, NVRs, and access control systems.
Familiarity with smart-home platforms, IoT devices, and home automation systems.
Ability to conduct professional site surveys and system assessments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills for client interaction and training.
Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
Willingness to travel for site surveys and installations.
Nice to Have (Advantage):
Experience with enterprise-grade networking equipment (Ubiquiti, MikroTik, Cisco, etc.).
Experience integrating smart-home systems with mobile apps and cloud platforms.
Certifications in networking or IT (CCNA, Network+, etc.).
Prior experience in smart homes, AV, security systems, or building automation.
