Job summary

The IT Support Officer is responsible for maintaining the company’s IT systems, providing technical support to staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of all technology-related infrastructure within BRG Network Limited. Candidates are required to stay with Sangotedo or it enivrons.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system problems promptly.
  • Support staff with system access, email setup, and software usage.


System & Network Management:

  • Monitor and maintain office internet, networks, and IT systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices.
  • Ensure proper functioning of communication and collaboration tools.


Software & Digital Operations:

  • Install and update approved software applications.
  • Manage company email accounts and digital access permissions.
  • Support CRM systems, portals, and internal digital platforms.

Data Security & Backup:

  • Ensure data backup and recovery processes are properly maintained.
  • Monitor cybersecurity measures and system protection.
  • Prevent unauthorized access and maintain data confidentiality.


IT Asset Management:

  • Maintain records of company IT assets and equipment.
  • Track allocation, maintenance, and replacement of devices.
  • Report damaged or obsolete equipment for necessary action.


Maintenance & Reporting:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and preventive checks.
  • Document technical issues and solutions provided.
  • Prepare periodic IT reports and recommendations for improvement.


Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of BSC.
  • 3 years of previous experience in a similar role.
