Job summary
The IT Support Officer is responsible for maintaining the company’s IT systems, providing technical support to staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of all technology-related infrastructure within BRG Network Limited. Candidates are required to stay with Sangotedo or it enivrons.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system problems promptly.
- Support staff with system access, email setup, and software usage.
System & Network Management:
- Monitor and maintain office internet, networks, and IT systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices.
- Ensure proper functioning of communication and collaboration tools.
Software & Digital Operations:
- Install and update approved software applications.
- Manage company email accounts and digital access permissions.
- Support CRM systems, portals, and internal digital platforms.
Data Security & Backup:
- Ensure data backup and recovery processes are properly maintained.
- Monitor cybersecurity measures and system protection.
- Prevent unauthorized access and maintain data confidentiality.
IT Asset Management:
- Maintain records of company IT assets and equipment.
- Track allocation, maintenance, and replacement of devices.
- Report damaged or obsolete equipment for necessary action.
Maintenance & Reporting:
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventive checks.
- Document technical issues and solutions provided.
- Prepare periodic IT reports and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of BSC.
- 3 years of previous experience in a similar role.
